VEGETABLE RICE

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 1/2 cups cooked parboiled rice
  • 1 small sweet pepper (diced)
  • 1 small carrot (diced)
  • 1/2 cup chopped cabbage
  • 1/2 cup chopped broccoli
  • 5 small baby bella mushrooms
  • 1 small onion
  • 4 cloves grated garlic
  • 1 finely chopped pimento
  • 2 tbsp golden ray butter
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 1/2 tbsp Peanut Oil
  • 2 1/2 tbsp JGM Products Fried Rice Seasoning
  • 1 tsp JGM Products Cayenne Pepper (optional)

 

METHOD:

  1. Add Golden Ray butter to heated pan on medium heat
  2. Add garlic, pimentos and onions. Cook until onions are soft (do not overcook as the garlic will burn)
  3. Add fried rice seasoning and cayenne pepper.
  4. Add carrots and mushrooms
  5. Cover and cook for approximately 2 mins
  6. Add some water (1-2 tbsp) if necessary to prevent it from sticking
  7. Add cabbage and broccoli.
  8. Stir. Cook for 3-4 mins
  9. Add sesame and peanut oil.
  10. Add cooked rice.
  11. Mix well
