Soups are ideal when you’re a bit under the weather…. or for those cold and cozy winter nights…..orrrr for us Trinidadians, on a weekend, during a get together with family and friends (we like having a ‘cook’ now and then lol)
I enjoy soups quite a lot but sometimes having to make soup from scratch (although it isn’t a long process) can be tiring so I usually have a variety of pack soups in my pantry just in case I’m not in the mood to really be on my feet in the kitchen (and for some reason that’s be a little too often these days).
This Red Miso Japanese Style Soup was a must try for me when I saw it at Vanilla Bean Gourmet in Trinidad especially as I’ve never seen or tried it before.
It takes literally 2 mins to make and all it requires is some boiling water. Simply add the water to the powdered contents and you’ve got yourself some hot soup. The taste in all honesty is similar to all the other pack soups I’ve tried but I still Enjoyed it quite a bit!
A suggestion would be to definitely add some veggies and even meat if you do have some extra time and I know you will enjoy it even more! No extra seasoning is required as it was already quite flavorful!
I think for the next time, I’ll add some noodles to it with the veggies and meat! Yum!
Unfortunately I can’t rememebr the price of this pack soup🤦🏼♀️ But I think it’s a good one to have at home for those ‘just in case’ moments.
if you’ve tried it already let me know what you think! And if you’ve got other halal pack soup options on your favorite soups list feel free to share them!
