Public holidays in Trinidad usually mean family time…either at the beach… house lime or eating out.

Today hubby and I decided to head to Rituals in Maraval for breakfast. As usual, we were greeted with smiles as we entered. It was lovely seeing so many people dining together.

The buffet included:

• omelette station
• eggs
• pancakes
• French toast
• sausages
• patchoi
• saltfish
• stewed fish in creole sauce
• stewed chicken
• maacroni pie
• fried bake
• toast
• coconut bake
• fruits
• and more!

I had the patchoi, chicken, fish, bake, eggs, salt fish and macaroni pie with some bake!… lol I had to use 2 plates but with so many choices and a foodie like myself, I needed to try everything.

It was the first time having their macaroni pie, stewed chicken and fish. They are all amazing especially the stewed chicken!..as Trinis say… ‘d stew was bess’

I actually really like this food spot…I like the casual and spacious setting….the awesome tasting food and most of all the price! Lol

It’s a really affordable place to head to for some nice girls time, breakfast date and family time.

For a hot chocolate, and 2 buffet breakfast (coffee and tea are included in the buffet) our bill was a little under $200TTD.

It is a place I’ll recommend for sure for bufffet 🙂
