Pholourie is a quite popular fried street food in Trinidad that is usually enjoyed with mango or tamarind chutney.
This would probably be my second favorite fried food (first is doubles lol).
Please note that no split peas powder is used in this recipe. I know many people like using it so if you wish to add some feel free but this recipe is exactly how I prefer mine.
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup all purpose flour
1/2 tsp yeast
1/2 tsp brown sugar
1/4 tsp JGM PRODUCTS saffron
1/2 tsp baking powder
