Pasta is one of the the fastest dishes to prepare for dinner so that’s exactly what I decided to have!…chicken pasta with tomato paste
INGREDIENTS:
- 4 oz whole grain penne pasta
- 1/2 lb chicken chunks
- 1 1/2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 large tomato diced
- 1/2 onion sliced
- 3 cloves grated garlic
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp JGM Products parsley
- 1 tsp JGM Products basil
- 1 tsp JGM Products Cajun seasoning
METHOD:
- Cook pasta according to package instructions
- Set aside
- Heat oil in skillet over low-medium heat
- Sauté onions, garlic and tomatoes
- Add chicken chunks, Cajun seasoning and basil. Stir
- Cook for 1 minute with skillet covered
- Add tomato paste and stir to coat all the chicken pieces
- Add water to the skillet
- Cook (covered) for roughly 3 minutes or until chicken in properly cooked through
- Add cooked pasta and mix well
- TIME TO EAT!
